Myanmar military reportedly expands conscription drive

Myanmar’s conscription drive is reportedly expanding, with authorities compiling lists of high-school students, ahead of their eligibility for military service. The opposition National Unity Government says more than 20,000 Myanmar military soldiers have been killed since July 2024 - most of them conscripts. CNA’s Leong Wai Kit reports.
