Some community spaces in Singapore are already opening their doors to residents looking for some respite from the haze. This, even before conditions have hit the threshold for haze shelters to be officially activated. If the 24-hour PSI crosses 200, all community clubs and selected residents' committee and network centres will open as haze shelters. The People's Association says grassroots activities could also be adjusted, if conditions worsen. Charlotte Lim reports.
