Singaporean family returns home safely from Nepal

A Singaporean family’s last minute decision to return to Kathmandu instead of staying at the Nepal border town of Rasuwagadhi saved them from the flash floods that occurred on Wednesday (Aug 26). The family of six completed their Nepal-Tibet pilgrimage a day earlier and decided not to stay at the border town. As there were seniors in the group who were exhausted, they arranged for a helicopter back to Kathmandu instead of taking the bus.
