At the inaugural Singapore-Vietnam Strategic Dialogue, both countries agreed to look into deepening technological cooperation in areas including AI, semi-conductors and advanced manufacturing. They say this is part of a shared vision to become leading strategic tech partners in Southeast Asia, with the two sides becoming more technologically resilient through cooperation and connectivity. Meanwhile, Singapore also signed an agreement covering study visits and executive education programmes for senior Vietnamese Communist Party officials.
