Reactions to PM Wong's announcements at National Day Rally 2026

At the National Day Rally on Aug 23, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared plans about Singapore reclaiming more land and merging existing islands to support new industries. He talked about how the government will raise income ceilings for subsidised public housing. He also announced a slew of measures to better support parents across all life stages of a child.
