National Day Rally 2026: Effort supporting Malay-Muslim seniors to be expanded to 3 more towns

In his Malay speech at the National Day Rally, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said he will continue to renew and strengthen the team of Malay-Muslim political office holders and MPs. Mr Wong said the team led by Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Zaqy Mohamad is working well. He also said that a programme supporting Malay-Muslim seniors will be expanded to Yishun, Sembawang and Woodlands. The effort, which started in Ang Mo Kio, engages seniors and provides them support by tapping expertise from across the community.
