A new luxury private assisted living facility in Singapore is offering a swimming pool, buffet restaurant and in-house traditional Chinese medicine treatments for its residents. The facility, which launched today, is about the size of two-and-a-half football fields and targets upper-middle-class seniors. The apartments by Perennial Living at Parry Avenue come at about 300 sq ft to 570 sq ft, with most offering private lift access. Packages range from S$8,000 to S$13,000 per month. While premium facilities and services can mean hefty fees, operators say they are constantly exploring new care models to make private assisted living more affordable and beneficial for seniors.
