More than 850,000 voters in Malaysia's state of Negeri Sembilan are expected to turn out on Aug 1 after two weeks of campaigning for state positions. Parties have drilled down on key battleground seats in the final hours of campaigning - with cost of living and local development being priority issues. Other concerns are also raised, such as clean governance in a state-run fund for Islamic pilgrimage - by no less than the prime minister himself, while on the campaign trail for his coalition.
