Mercedes reserve driver Fred Vesti races down Orchard Road as part of motorsport festival

More than 30,000 people are expected for two days of entertainment and Formula 1 action on Orchard Road. A 600-metre stretch of the shopping belt became the racetrack for Singapore's first live race car demonstration in over a decade. The precinct's business association said such large-scale events are part of efforts to move Orchard Road beyond retail and dining. Chloe Teo reports.
