India warns new US tariffs over Russian oil could affect bilateral ties

New Delhi has warned that ties with Washington could be tested, after US lawmakers passed a bill allowing for stiff tariffs if Indian refiners buy Russian crude. New legislation would give President Donald Trump the power to slap tariffs of up to 100% on major Russian oil buyers, including China and India. New Delhi has pledged to use all measures to protect its economy, while maintaining energy security and diversifying its oil supplies. Neha Poonia reports from New Delhi.
