'Heroes': Netanyahu hails flydubai passengers, cabin crew for averting disaster

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the flydubai passengers and cabin crew who subdued a pilot accused of stabbing the other pilot and trying to crash the plane on Wednesday (Sep 30). "I salute these heroes who showed exceptional resourcefulness and courage. They saved many lives; they prevented a heavy disaster," Mr Netanyahu said. The Tel Aviv-bound flight made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. The alleged attacker has been arrested and is being interrogated by Saudi authorities.
