A new Singapore study has found that children whose parents set consistent rules tended to have healthier daily routines. More screen time was linked to weaker focus and self-control, while active play and enriching activities were linked to stronger skills. The study was conducted by A*STAR’s Institute for Human Development and Potential and NUS Medicine. CNA speaks to the study's research scientists Professor Jean Yeung and Dr Chen Luxi.
