Commuters evacuated after smoke seen coming from train at Bukit Gombak station

Commuters at Bukit Gombak station were evacuated after smoke was seen coming from underneath a train carriage on Tuesday (Sep 15). Early checks suggest the smoke came from a faulty brake, said SMRT Trains President Lam Sheau Kai. “Train services continued to operate normally.
