The Public Service Division (PSD) said on Monday (Sep 14) that it was reviewing the data and methodology of a working paper by a United States-based research organisation that alleged Singapore civil servants "disproportionately" purchased homes near planned but not yet publicly announced MRT stations. The working paper — which has not been peer-reviewed and was circulated for discussion purposes — claims to find "clear evidence of informed trading" by civil servants for their property purchases. PSD said it takes integrity concerns "extremely seriously" and that it would refer the matter to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau if necessary. #sgnews #singapore Subscribe to our channel here: https://cna.asia/youtubesub Visit our website: https://cna.asia Download our app: https://cna.asia/app Get our editors' picks of stories via chat apps: Telegram: https://cna.asia/telegram WhatsApp: https://cna.asia/whatsapp Follow us on these platforms: https://www.facebook.com/channelnewsasia https://www.instagram.com/channelnewsasia https://www.tiktok.com/@channelnewsasia
