BRICS leaders stressed cooperation, inclusivity in pursuing global growth

The Middle East conflict dominated discussions at the BRICS summit in New Delhi over the weekend. Leaders unanimously adopted a joint declaration calling for calm in the region, and cooperation to keep trade, supply chains and energy flowing. But the grouping which includes China, India, Iran, Russia and other emerging economies remains divided over conflicts, trade and ties with the West.
