Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Indranee Rajah said improving workplace culture and norms will be key to better supporting marriage and parenthood in Singapore. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Pasir Ris-Changi National Day Dinner 2026 on Saturday (Aug 15), she said that beyond flexible work arrangements and leave policies, managers and employers have a role to play in creating a more supportive environment for employees balancing work and family responsibilities.
