Asian Games 2026: Singapore fencer Maxine Wong clinches women’s foil bronze

Singapore fencer Maxine Wong has clinched bronze in the women’s individual foil, becoming the first Singapore fencer to win two Asian Games medals. Wong reached the semi-finals before falling 15-6 to Japan’s Yuka Ueno, while teammate Amita Berthier was edged out 15-14 in the round of 16. The pair will return for the women’s team foil event on Sep 26. Alif Amsyar reports.
