Sketching autumn in a traditional Chinese village

In Shenlongwan Village, tucked deep in the Taihang Mountains of Shanxi Province, dramatic cliffs, tranquil waters and traditional stone houses create a scene worthy of a painting. As autumn colors spread across the surrounding hills, visitors arrive with sketchbooks and cameras, turning the village into an open-air studio and capturing its beauty on paper and through the lens. Recognized as a traditional Chinese village, Shenlongwan has received a cumulative 200,000 tourist visits to date.
