Chinese police chase gains two unexpected sidekicks

A suspected thief tried to flee from police on an e-scooter in Hefei, east China's Anhui Province. As the officers struggled to keep up on foot, a passing delivery rider gave one officer a lift, while a taxi driver picked up another. With help from the public, the officers caught the suspect and made the arrest. As one social media user put it, the police picked two people who knew the city's roads the best.
