Bridging Hearts: Young voices rise in cross-strait exchange

This August, despite the summer heat, around 1,000 young people and representatives from across the Taiwan Strait gathered in Shanghai for an unforgettable exchange experience. The program offered something for everyone, from study sessions and forums to volleyball matches, street dance competitions, trendy markets and city tours. The participants came from a wide range of backgrounds, from those visiting the Chinese mainland for the first time to long-term residents of Shanghai. Each brought a different perspective and a unique impression of the city and the exchange.
