Ukraine launched one of its largest overnight drone attacks on Moscow this year, forcing airports to suspend flights as Russian air defences intercepted incoming drones. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported more than 860 Ukrainian drones heading towards the region, with hundreds intercepted. In Russia’s Samara region, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, although Russian authorities have not confirmed the strike. A military food supply facility in Bryansk was also reportedly targeted. Al Jazeera’s Yulia Shapovalova reports from Moscow on the attacks and disruptions across Russia.
