Russia's strikes on Kyiv fuel stations mark a new phase of war

Russia's drone and missile campaign against Ukraine appears to be entering a new phase, with strikes over the past two days targeting fuel stations in Kyiv, another sign the air campaign against the capital is expanding. On Thursday, an air strike hit a petrol station in Kyiv. By the time journalists arrived, the injured had already been taken to hospital and clean-up was under way. On Friday, Russia hit two more stations, with a double strike on one, a drone followed fifteen minutes later by another. All the stations hit belong to the state company Ukrnafta and are among 18 Kyiv fuel stations identified as targets in intercepted Russian communications. Motorists in the city say they now plan routes around air-raid alerts, calling it one more threat to already precarious lives. Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Kyiv.
