XRP Ledger v3.2.0 Released, Core Server Renamed to xrpl daemon

The new version introduces a 'fixCleanup3_2_0' amendment, which aggregates security patches for various protocols including Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, permissioned decentralized exchanges (DEXs), Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs), and permissioned domains. It also adds new invariant checks to prevent deleted accounts from leaving behind accessible ledger artifacts, enhancing consistency and reliability.

Developers and infrastructure providers will benefit from new tools that allow seamless retrieval of XRP Ledger protocol information and server definitions without needing to operate a live server. This is expected to facilitate wallet integration, APIs, blockchain explorers, and automated tools.

Infrastructure performance is also enhanced with configurable nuDB block sizes for improved database storage optimization and optional support for TLS and mutual TLS for gRPC servers, boosting connectivity and security for enterprises. The default peering port has been changed from 51235 to 2459. The release also includes numerous fixes related to AMMs, payments, MPTs, token escrows, order books, and RPC handling. Transaction invariants were temporarily disabled in this version due to a performance regression, though developers state this poses no security risk as they are currently no-ops.
