Ukrainian drones successfully struck two Russian fighter jets, a large missile-carrying drone, and multiple air defense systems in Russia's southern Krasnodar Krai and occupied Crimea on August 23, according to Robert 'Magyar' Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces. The targeted aircraft at the Vityazevo airfield included a Su-33 and a Mig-29 fighter jet, as well as a Russian Orion strike drone. The Orion, a large unmanned aerial vehicle developed before the full-scale invasion, has been adapted by Russia to launch cruise missiles against Ukraine's Black Sea port infrastructure.
