Tom Lee’s Bitmine Immersion Technologies, an Ethereum treasury company, has resumed its Ether purchases, bringing it closer to its target of owning 5% of the second-largest cryptocurrency’s supply. The company acquired 9,926 Ether (ETH) last week, increasing its total holdings to approximately 5.82 million ETH, representing about 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. At a reference price of $1,893, Bitmine’s Ether holdings were valued at roughly $11 billion, though the company is sitting on more than $8.4 billion in unrealized losses on its ETH holdings. Bitmine has continued accumulating Ether weekly since launching its ETH treasury strategy in June 2025. The company is staking more than 5 million ETH, worth roughly $9.6 billion, which it projects will generate annualized staking rewards of approximately $287 million based on a 2.61% yield.
