SEOUL, October 22, 2026 – Square Tech (KOSDAQ: 148250) and GOAT Network have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the development of AI agent-powered stablecoin payment services in South Korea. DAC Labs, the core infrastructure developer for GOAT Network, will also provide technical support.
The initial focus of the collaboration is to integrate GOAT Network’s AI agent payment technology into a stablecoin payment program for foreign tourists. Square Tech is currently developing this program with Lordsystem, a South Korean mobile identity verification company. The proposed service aims to allow foreign visitors to use mobile passports for identity verification and make payments at participating merchants in South Korea using US dollar-denominated stablecoins.
Under the agreement, Square Tech will lead domestic business development, merchant partnerships, and regulatory engagement. GOAT Network will supply its AI agent payment technology and network infrastructure, while DAC Labs will support technical integration, security reviews, and network operations. The companies plan to comply with all applicable South Korean laws and regulations, including the Electronic Financial Transactions Act and the proposed Digital Asset Basic Act.
Future expansion into additional services, such as digital gift card and voucher purchases, will be explored, subject to legal and regulatory reviews. The companies also intend to establish the technical foundation for supporting Korean won-denominated stablecoins as South Korea's digital asset regulatory framework evolves.
