South Korean President Lee Jae Myung Arrives in France for G7 Summit

During the summit in Evian-les-Bains, Lee is scheduled to address global economic imbalances and promote cooperation for worldwide economic growth. He plans to highlight the necessity of coordinated responses to shared global challenges, including mid- to long-term strategies for energy supply disruptions stemming from tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Later in the day, President Lee will attend a working lunch with leaders of major artificial intelligence (AI) companies. The discussions are expected to focus on cybersecurity and the protection of minors. Lee intends to advocate for AI as a tool for inclusive growth, rather than a privilege for a select few.
