A Russian ballistic missile strike on July 30 destroyed a home in the Ukrainian village of Radushne, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, killing at least six members of a family. President Volodymyr Zelensky described the impact as devastating, stating that "almost nothing remained of the house" and that fragments of bodies were found beneath the rubble, requiring forensic examination for identification.
Local media confirmed six family members killed as of the evening, with identification work ongoing. Zelensky had earlier identified five of the deceased as parents Olena and Artem, and three of their children: Mark, Azarii Ilai, and Emilia. The bodies of five other children in the family, along with the couple's grandson, Artem, were also feared dead due to the destruction.
Matvii, a son of Olena and Artem living in Poland, reportedly asked neighbors via a local Telegram chat if any family members had survived, receiving a reply that only foundations remained and all were killed. The strike on the Voronovs' house was part of a larger mass Russian missile and drone attack that saw at least eight people killed and over 50 injured across Ukraine, with Lviv and Kyiv also hit.
