Protesters entered the newsroom of Serbian pro-government Informer TV late on Monday, interrupting broadcasts and calling for the arrest of its editor-in-chief. The incident occurred as tens of thousands took to the streets for a second night of post-election celebrations following the opposition Student List's victory. The Student List's win ended 14 years of rule by former President Aleksandar Vucic. Live footage showed about 30 people surrounding Informer TV's editor-in-chief, Dragan Vucicevic, with some shouting for his arrest. Vucic called the event an attack on free speech. The Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia plans to seek the revocation of Informer TV's broadcasting license, citing systematic violations. A group also gathered outside the pro-Vucic Pink TV station.
