Key facts
- Pioneer Energy's systems allow for the use of field gas in fracking operations.
- This technology replaces diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) as fuel sources.
- The initiative aims to reduce fuel costs for Rolfson Oil's fracking operations.
Pioneer Energy is supplying Rolfson Oil with field gas conditioning systems. These systems enable Rolfson Oil to utilize natural gas directly from the field as a primary fuel source for its fracking operations. This tri-fueling approach aims to significantly reduce operational expenses by decreasing reliance on diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG).
