At least nine members of Libya's Anti-Threat Security Agency were killed and several others wounded by a mortar blast during a training exercise in Zawiya, west of Tripoli, late on Sunday, according to the Libya Alahrar TV channel. The blast, from an 82mm mortar round, occurred in Zawiya, a city about 40 km west of Tripoli that is home to the country's largest operating oil refinery. The Anti-Threat Security Agency is a security force under the UN-recognized Government of National Unity led by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah. Libya has experienced unrest since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, with the country divided between rival authorities in the west and east.
