McLaren Racing is selling five of its iconic Formula 1 cars, including chassis raced by champions Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Gerhard Berger, Jenson Button, and Lando Norris. The collection spans 32 years of the team's history. One car, a 2023 MCL37A-03, was also tested by actor Brad Pitt for his role in an upcoming movie, reaching speeds of 197mph. The cars will be prepared for their new owners by the team and are expected to be sold individually through dealer Tom Hartley Jr. for between £5 million and £10 million each, potentially raising up to £50 million in total. McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown stated that the cars were built to be driven and raced, and keeping them in storage would be a disservice.
