Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the 26th anniversary of the first inter-Korean summit, Lee, whose speech was read by his chief of staff Kang Hoon-sik, stated that despite his administration's attempts to restart dialogue and cooperation, including suspending propaganda loudspeaker broadcasts, the door to engagement remains difficult to open.
