Key facts
- Kalshi has partnered with DoubleZero to provide a real-time market data feed.
Prediction market Kalshi is partnering with Solana-based DoubleZero to offer a real-time, low-latency market data feed. The service will provide institutional traders with access to Kalshi's order book data for crypto perpetual futures and sports contracts, mirroring traditional finance infrastructure.

This partnership brings traditional finance-style high-speed data infrastructure to the prediction market and cryptocurrency space, potentially improving trading efficiency and accessibility for institutional participants.
Prediction market Kalshi has launched a real-time market data feed through DoubleZero Edge, making its live order book data accessible to trading firms via DoubleZero's dedicated fiber network. The initial feed focuses on Kalshi's sports event contracts and cryptocurrency perpetual futures, providing both Level 1 (best prices, completed trades) and Level 2 (buy and sell orders across multiple price levels) data.
Kalshi's Head of Institutional, Andy Ross, stated that the partnership aims to provide institutional-grade infrastructure to trading firms, meeting them with the same level of connectivity they expect in traditional markets. DoubleZero CEO Austin Federa explained that the service simplifies data access, allowing firms to subscribe and receive machine-readable data directly, rather than building their own infrastructure.
The DoubleZero Edge platform utilizes a multicast system to send data simultaneously to connected traders. This formatted data is intended for use in pricing, hedging, and automated trading strategies. Kalshi has announced that it will waive its share of subscription fees for the first year of the service, with fees covering only network delivery costs.
Federa also addressed potential concerns about professional traders gaining an advantage, arguing that broader access to faster data ultimately increases competition, leading to tighter spreads and better prices for all exchange participants.
