Jewelry valued at approximately HK$751,000 was stolen from a luxury home in Fo Tan, Hong Kong, on Saturday evening. The residents were dining downstairs when the break-in occurred at the two-storey house on Sui Wo Road.
The owner, a 69-year-old man, reported that his master bedroom had been entered and a jewelry box forced open. Missing items included 10 necklaces, 15 rings, and six brooches.
Another report stated the value of the stolen items was HK$750,000 and that a 66-year-old female resident discovered the ransacking after returning to her room. The suspect is believed to have gained entry by forcing open a window, possibly targeting the property due to its secluded hillside location.
Police received the report around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday and have classified the case as burglary.
