Israeli forces shot and killed Mustafa Al-Khatib, 32, inside his home in the occupied West Bank village of Sarta. According to his cousin, Amin Al-Khatib, soldiers broke through the front door and found Al-Khatib in his bedroom. Video footage showed ransacked cupboards and bloodstains. The Israeli military confirmed the shooting, stating that troops fired warning shots before aiming at the man after he began throwing objects at them. The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Al-Khatib’s death brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank this year to 72.
