Hong Kong's Development Bureau has proposed significant revisions to the Hung Hom harbourfront development plan, prioritizing residential space over commercial use due to perceived weak office market demand. The updated proposal, submitted to the Legislative Council, increases the total gross floor area by 3% to approximately 206,000 square meters. Four planned seaside residential towers will be transformed into public leisure space, with the residential allocation relocated inland.
