Drones hit Novorossiysk, Crimea amid Russian attacks on Ukraine

Drone debris damaged six residential buildings and a commercial building in Russia's Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk, according to Mayor Andrei Kravchenko. In Sevastopol, occupied Crimea, over three dozen drones were downed, with some houses sustaining damage, reported Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev. Separately, a Russian attack caused a fire at a shopping mall in Zaporizhzhia, cutting power to approximately 1,200 consumers. These events follow an intensification of Russian strikes on Ukrainian food and agriculture facilities, which Moscow states is in response to Kyiv's attacks on Russian energy, port, and logistics hubs. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy indicated that Kyiv has submitted proposals to U.S. negotiators for a plan to conclude the conflict.
