Delta Air Lines has unveiled its next-generation Delta One business-class suite, designed for its future Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The airline showcased the new cabin at an event in New York City on Tuesday. The suite features a bed measuring 6 feet 9 inches, designed to accommodate most passengers, and angled seats for enhanced privacy. Customers will also find new amenities like a dedicated laptop holder and an overhauled food and drink menu. The Italian company Missoni provided custom linens and amenity kits. Delta was among the first US carriers to introduce doors in business class in 2017, and this feature will continue in the new suites, which will be certified from day one. The new Delta One suites will first fly on transoceanic routes from Los Angeles in early 2027, as part of Delta's $1 billion fleet investment. The airline has 20 firm orders for the A350-1000 and is also adding upgraded Delta One suites to A330 planes.
