This EU contribution comes as a Chinese medical team, comprising five specialists in epidemiology, clinical medicine, research, and traditional Chinese medicine, arrived in Kinshasa for a three-month mission. Their focus is on containing the outbreak in a mining region where China holds significant investments. The Chinese experts are set to collaborate with local authorities to strengthen containment strategies.
