Charges against Dharmesh Patel, who drove his family off a cliff, have been dismissed. The dismissal came after Patel successfully completed a mental health treatment program. The incident, which occurred in January, saw Patel's Tesla plunge off a 250-foot cliff on Highway 1 near Devil's Slide in Pacifica, California. Miraculously, his wife and two children survived the crash, though they sustained serious injuries. Patel himself was also injured in the incident. Initially facing attempted murder and child endangerment charges, the case was dismissed by San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Stephen Murphy, who cited Patel's progress in a mental health program as the reason for the dismissal.
