Andrew Woosnam, a prominent figure in the recruitment industry, faces significant financial difficulties as his businesses have twice entered insolvency proceedings since September last year, leaving creditors owed over £3 million. His former company, Premier Group, went into administration in September 2025 with debts of £2.9 million, including £647,000 owed to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The assets were subsequently acquired by PGGBR Ltd, another company owned by Woosnam, who promised further payments that have not been fully met. PGGBR Ltd also accrued new debts, leading to its liquidation last month. Despite these setbacks, a new recruitment brand, Xpertis Talent, has emerged, with at least eight former Premier Group employees now working there, leading to speculation about Woosnam's continued involvement.
