Key facts
- Robots are being used to build solar farms in Australia.
- The robots can communicate with each other.
- The robots can be controlled remotely.
- Human handlers are still required on-site.
Robots capable of inter-robot communication and remote control are now being deployed for the construction of solar farms in Australia. While these advanced robots can be managed from any location and coordinate their actions, human oversight remains necessary on-site. This technological advancement in construction methods for renewable energy projects aims to improve efficiency and potentially safety in the deployment of solar infrastructure.
