AI developer Anthropic is partnering with London-based private equity firm Hg to launch a new independent AI consultancy in Europe. The venture, which aims to embed AI consultants and engineers within European businesses to build new AI-powered products and services, is expected to launch by the end of 2026 with hubs in London and Berlin. Anthropic is providing balance sheet capital, while Hg is investing through its managed funds, including the London-listed HgCapital Trust. This move mirrors Anthropic's earlier launch of the $1.5 billion Ode services firm in the U.S. with Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman.
