Apple Intelligence unveiled: AI integration across Apple devices

Key features of Apple Intelligence include enhanced writing tools that can rewrite, proofread, and summarize text, as well as image generation capabilities for creating custom images. The company also highlighted a more capable Siri, which will be able to understand and act on a wider range of user requests, leveraging context from the user's apps and personal data.

Apple emphasized its commitment to privacy, stating that much of the AI processing will occur on-device to protect user data. For more complex queries that require advanced AI models, Apple announced a partnership with OpenAI, allowing users to opt-in to send requests to ChatGPT. This integration aims to provide users with access to a powerful language model without compromising their privacy.

Apple Intelligence will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and later models, as well as iPads and Macs equipped with M1 chips or newer. The features are expected to roll out in beta later this year, with a broader release anticipated in the fall.
