Some airlines are gradually resuming certain flights to the Middle East, though many suspensions remain in effect following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran in February, which have disrupted global travel. Several carriers have extended cancellations to destinations including Tel Aviv, Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha, with some routes paused until late October or even indefinitely.
Aegean Airlines has cancelled flights from Thessaloniki to Tel Aviv until June 26, and to Dubai until August 31, with Erbil and Baghdad flights suspended until September 30. AirBaltic has cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until June 28 and to Dubai until October 24. Air Canada has cancelled flights to Tel Aviv and Dubai until October 24, while Air Europa has flights to Tel Aviv suspended until June 28.
Air France has suspended its Tel Aviv flights until June 21 and flights to Beirut and Dubai until June 24. KLM has suspended flights to Riyadh and Dammam until July 26 and to Dubai until August 2. Cathay Pacific has suspended flights to Dubai and Riyadh until August 31.
Delta has suspended its Atlanta-Tel Aviv route through December 18, planning to resume New York-JFK to Tel Aviv flights on September 6, with the launch of its Boston-Tel Aviv route delayed indefinitely. Finnair has cancelled Doha flights until October 2 and continues to avoid the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Israel, planning to restart Dubai flights in October. IAG-owned British Airways delayed its resumption of flights to Doha until August 1 and to Riyadh until August 8, with flights to Dubai, Tel Aviv, Bahrain, and Amman paused until October 25, and plans to reduce services to one daily flight on these routes upon resumption, dropping Jeddah as a destination.
Japan Airlines has suspended Tokyo-Doha flights until July 31 and Doha-Tokyo flights until August 1. LOT has cancelled flights to Riyadh until June 30 and to Beirut until June 27, planning to operate its winter route to Dubai from October. The Lufthansa Group is planning to resume flights to Tel Aviv as early as July 1, with ITA Airways also confirming a July 1 resumption. SWISS has postponed its Tel Aviv resumption until August, and Brussels Airlines has suspended operations until October 24. Lufthansa, SWISS, and ITA Airways will continue their Dubai flight suspension until September 13. Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines have suspended flights to Abu Dhabi, Amman, Beirut, Dammam, Riyadh, Erbil, Muscat, and Tehran until October 24. Low-cost carrier Eurowings has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until July 9, to Beirut until July 17, to Erbil until June 30, and to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Amman until October 24. ITA Airways has also extended its suspension of flights to Riyadh until July 31.
Malaysia Airlines will resume limited services to Doha from July 2. Norwegian Air has pushed back planned launches of its Tel Aviv and Beirut services indefinitely. Qantas is adding flights to Rome and Paris and increasing its Perth-Singapore service to meet demand. Royal Air Maroc has cancelled flights to Doha until June 30. Singapore Airlines has extended its Singapore-Dubai flight suspension until August 2, while adding services on Singapore-London Gatwick and Singapore-Melbourne routes. SunExpress has cancelled flights to Dubai until June 30 and to Bahrain, Beirut, and Erbil until July 14. Wizz Air has suspended flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Amman from mainland European destinations until mid-September.
