LONDON, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Shell's adjusted earnings, its definition of net profit, reached $10.81 billion in the third quarter, it said on Thursday, versus an average estimate of $10.33 billion in a company-provided poll of analysts and $5.43 billion a year earlier.
