The historic Admiralty Arch in London, a Grade I-listed landmark, is set to open as the Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch in autumn 2026. The building, originally commissioned by King Edward VII and designed by Aston Webb, has undergone an extensive restoration after serving as government offices for over a century.
The hotel will feature 114 rooms, suites, and residences, with designs reflecting the building's historic architecture. The residential and signature suites will occupy more than half of the accommodation space, with names referencing the building's naval heritage, such as the Nelson Suite and Victory Residence.
Culinary offerings will be a significant draw, with two internationally renowned chefs, Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, leading the restaurant concepts. Smyth will open Coreus, focusing on British coastal heritage, while Boulud will launch Café Boulud, an all-day rooftop restaurant with panoramic views.
The property will also include a spa with various treatment rooms and facilities, and a grand ballroom capable of hosting events. Reservations for the hotel are now available, with stays bookable from March 2027.
