Rocket Pro is enhancing its August "Power Play" initiative with increased credits and pricing incentives aimed at supporting mortgage brokers in a challenging market. The program now offers a 60 basis point credit on all refinance products, a significant increase from the previous 40 basis points applicable only to cash-out refinances. Additionally, the company is extending its 60 basis point purchase credit and a 40 basis point credit through its partnership with real estate brokerage Compass.
Cory Scholl, Rocket Pro's executive vice president, stated that the strategy is designed to help brokers succeed by providing them with the credits they need to close deals promptly, regardless of fluctuating interest rates. He noted that brokers have requested the extension of these incentives, particularly the Compass credit, which has fostered new relationships with Compass agents.
Furthermore, Rocket Pro has opened community voting for its "Big Pitch" contest, which solicits innovative technology tool ideas from brokers. This initiative, which received over 350 submissions last month, aims to involve brokers in shaping future technology solutions. The top three finalists will present their concepts at Rocket Pro's annual conference, RPX, in September, with the winner receiving a $100,000 grand prize and Rocket Pro facilitating the implementation of the winning idea.
