Actress Dakota Johnson has quickly found a buyer for her midcentury modern Los Angeles residence, which was listed for $6 million. The property went under contract within seven days of hitting the market, according to reports.
The home, originally built in 1947 by architect Carl Maston, was purchased by Johnson in January 2016 for $3.55 million. She later undertook a renovation with design firm Pierce & Ward. The 3,200-square-foot house features three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Johnson had described the property, once owned by Ryan Murphy, as her "anchor" and a serene retreat. The sale comes as Johnson reportedly purchased another home in the Outpost Estates neighborhood in October 2025 for $5.3 million.
